A Safer Bathroom and Peace of Mind: Trish McDaniel’s HomePride Story

Meet Trish: A Colorado Homeowner Who Needed a Safer Bathroom Remodel

When you talk with Trish McDaniel, one thing is clear right away: she values her independence and safety.  Living in Littleton, Colorado, in a home that had grown outdated, Trish and her husband faced daily challenges with their bathroom.  Both live with disabilities, and the traditional tub-and-shower combination had become not only inconvenient but also a real safety concern.

The risks of slipping, straining, or losing balance while getting in and out of the tub were always in the back of their minds.  For Trish, the solution was obvious: a walk-in shower would provide the accessibility, safety, and peace of mind they both needed.  But like many thoughtful homeowners, she wanted to make sure she chose the right company for such an important project.

How Trish Found the Right Bathroom Remodeling Company in Colorado

Trish began her bathroom remodel journey the same way many Colorado homeowners do—by planning to gather three estimates.  A remodel is a big decision, and she wanted to compare companies before making a choice.

HomePride Bath was the first to visit.  Robert, a design consultant, came out to meet with Trish and her husband.  Right away, Trish noticed something different about the experience.  Instead of opening a binder or clicking through a sales presentation, Robert sat down at their table and took time to connect.

“He sat down and we talked about each other,” Trish recalls.  “That was really important because he just didn’t come in here, open up a book and computer and try to sell us. He really got to know us.”

That personal connection made all the difference.  They swapped stories about family and shared what mattered most in this project—safety, ease of use, and a bathroom that finally felt like theirs.

Why Trish Trusted HomePride Bath for Her Walk-In Shower Remodel

Typically, Trish doesn’t rush decisions.  But that day was different.  After talking with Robert, she and her husband felt so comfortable and confident in HomePride’s approach that they made their decision on the spot.  She even canceled her other scheduled estimates the very same day.

“We just felt very confident that this is the company that we wanted to go with and trust,” she said.

What sealed the deal was the trust Robert built—and the reassurance of using quality Kohler products.  Trish was impressed by HomePride’s partnership with Kohler, a name she already knew for durability and reliability.  She appreciated that every element of the project—from fixtures to finishing touches—was backed by a brand with a reputation for excellence.

The Results: A Safer, Accessible Walk-In Shower in Littleton, CO

When the remodel was complete, Trish and her husband could hardly believe the transformation.  The once-dated bathroom now featured a modern, accessible walk-in shower designed for comfort, safety, and style.

“I like the fact that Kohler supplies were used because I know that’s an excellent product,” Trish said.  “Everything is so put together.  The décor is perfect.  It’s exactly what I imagined.”

One detail stood out above the rest: Robert went out of his way to ensure the shower head could extend far enough to reach the shower chair for her husband, Mark.  That thoughtful customization showed HomePride’s commitment to listening and delivering solutions that work for real families.

“It’s absolutely perfect.  I am very happy,” Trish said with a smile.

Bathroom Remodel Testimonial: Trish McDaniel’s Experience with HomePride Bath

Below is Trish McDaniel’s story in her own words, transcribed from her testimonial video.

Introduction: Why We Needed a Change

“I am Trish McDaniels.  We’re in Littleton, Colorado. I want to change the bathroom because the house is very old and we feel like it needs to be updated.  I have a disability and my husband has some disabilities too, so I just feel that it would be a lot easier to have a walk-in shower, as compared to getting in and out of the tub all the time, and not risk the fall.”

Meeting Robert from HomePride

“I usually like to get three estimates, and Robert happened to be the first person that came out from Home Pride.

When Robert first got here, he sat down and we talked about each other—he got to know us.  And that was really important because he just didn’t come in here, open up a book and computer and try to sell us.  He really got to know us, and we kind of…we told him about our family, he talked about his family, and we talked about what I was looking for—what we were both looking for.  What we had in mind.”

Deciding on the Spot

“And so we made a decision that day, and that’s not something that we usually do.  And I actually canceled the other appointments that same day because, uh, we just felt very confident that this is the company that we wanted to go with and, and trust.”

Quality Products and Design

“I like the fact that Kohler supplies were used because I know that’s an excellent product.  Everything is so put together.  The décor is perfect.  It’s just, it’s exactly what I imagined.

I love the shower head, and Robert actually made sure that he got one that was long enough to reach from the wall to the chair for Mark.”

Final Thoughts

“So it’s absolutely perfect. I am very happy. Yes. Everything is just so put together.”
