Frequently Asked Questions about Warranties & Guarantees

This page is devoted to providing honest answers to help you make confident decisions about your bathroom renovation and/or kitchen cabinet restyling.

What warranty comes with my remodel?

All of our installations (bathroom and shower) come with Limited Lifetime warranties, which are transferable upon the sale of your home.

Kohler’s limited lifetime warranties apply to LuxStone® Shower systems and Walk-In Baths.   For as long as the original buyer owns the home, defects in material and workmanship are covered.

What is Covered by Kohler's Lifetime Warranty?

Kohler’s limited lifetime warranties apply to LuxStone® Shower systems and Walk-In Baths when installed by Kohler Certified professionals like HomePride.   For as long as the original buyer owns the home, defects in material and workmanship are covered.

What Isn't Covered Under Kohler's Lifetime Warranty?

Even the best warranties have boundaries.  Kohler’s is no exception.  Here’s what falls outside the umbrella:

  • Improper installation: Non-certified contractors mean reduced or voided coverage.

  • Unauthorized modifications: Drilling, altering, or tampering with original parts.

  • Commercial use: Coverage applies only to normal residential use.

  • Geographic limits: U.S.-only for showers, U.S. and Canada for Walk-In Baths.

  • Neglect or misuse: Skipping maintenance or using beyond normal conditions.

And then there’s normal wear and tear—the slow fade of surfaces, minor scratches, or aging finishes.  That’s not a defect; it's life.  But damage from harsh cleaners, environmental extremes, or unusual abuse won’t be covered.
