How do I clean my new LuxStone shower/bath?

 

Daily/after each use: 

  • Squeegee walls and glass doors (prevents water spots) 
  • Wipe down with microfiber cloth 


Weekly cleaning: 

  • Spray with mild soap solution (dish soap + water) 
  • Wipe with soft cloth or sponge 
  • Rinse thoroughly 

Do NOT use: 

  • Abrasive scrubbers (steel wool, hard brushes) 
  • Bleach or ammonia-based cleaners 
  • Acidic cleaners (vinegar, harsh lime removers) 

Recommended cleaners: 

  • KOHLER All-Purpose Cleaner 
  • Mild dish soap (Dawn, etc.) 
  • Hydrogen peroxide (for stubborn stains)

How often do I need to reseal or maintain it?

 

LuxStone requires NO resealing! 

Unlike tile (which requires grout resealing every 1-2 years), LuxStone is: 

  • Non-porous (nothing to seal) 
  • Seamless (minimal caulk lines) 
  • Maintenance-free beyond regular cleaning 

This saves you $200-500 every 1-2 years compared to tile maintenance. 

What if my glass door gets water spots?

 

Prevention: 

  • Squeegee after every use
  • Use a water softener if you have hard Colorado water 

Removal: 

  • White vinegar solution (50/50 mix with water) 
  • Commercial hard water stain remover 
  • Magic Eraser (gentle scrubbing) 

For tough buildup: 

  • Baking soda paste (mild abrasive) 
  • Professional cleaning service 

How long will my remodel last?

  • Walk-in tubs: 25-30 years (lifetime warranty on structure)

Out of warranty: We offer:
